This novel architecture has recently been proposed for ultra-high bandwidth systems to reduce the transceiver power consumption by extensive parallelization of the digital baseband hardware. The parallelization is achieved by replacing two-dimensional quadrature modulation with multi-dimensional Walsh-Hadamard modulation.
