In this paper, we introduce matrix representations for colored graphs and their associated bubble graphs. By using this correspondence, we define simplicial-complex matrices and subsimplex matrices that encode the simplicial complexes of pseudomanifolds and their subsimplices. Moreover, we formulate mutation and crossover operations on colored graphs.
