Particularly, we have bench-marked excitation energies, electric dipole (E1) matrix elements, magnetic dipole hyperfine structure constants ($A_{hf}$), and isotope shift (IS) constants in the singly ionized magnesium (Mg$^+$) systematically at different levels of approximation of both methods.
