QCD factorization for the vacuum-to-$B$-meson correlation function with an interpolating current for the $D$-meson is demonstrated explicitly at one loop with the power counting scheme $m_c \\sim {\\cal O} \\left (\\sqrt{\\Lambda \\, m_b} \\right ) $.
