To eliminate ambiguity about the state of brightness, a comparison of stellar magnitudes from SIMBAD and NOMAD, SDSS and VSX catalogues is carried out. It is shown that for some objects in SIMBAD stellar magnitudes are presented in a state of high activity (possibly flare).
