Such excitation may lead to hydraulic impacts applied on the tank inner walls. Finite stiffness of the tank walls is taken into account. We explore both linear (Tuned Mass Damper) and nonlinear (Nonlinear Energy Sink) passive vibration absorbers; mitigation performances are examined numerically.
