It is found that the interplay between the direct impurity-STM tip tunneling and altermagnet-mediated tunneling leads to dual Fano resonance in the absence of external magnetic field. Moreover, the anisotropic spin-dependent oscillation of the local density of states and/or Fano factor provide the information of the altermagnetic splitting strength from the local/global perspective.
