Despite major progress in the last decade, key uncertainties remain in the physics of massive stars, particularly in mass loss, internal mixing, binary interactions, and the upper end of the initial mass function. These uncertainties directly affect our understanding of stellar populations, gravitational wave progenitors, and the young Universe probed by JWST.
