However the existence of the pentaquark state is still controversial. Some contradictions between the experiments are unsolved. In this paper we review the experimental search for the pentaquark candidates $\\Theta^+$, $\\Theta^{++}$, $\\Xi^{--}$, $\\Theta_c^0$ and $N^*$ in details.
