In this study the aforementioned process is numerically analysed for the separation of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) from polypropylene (PP) particles. The Discrete Element Method coupled with the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics method (DEM-SPH) is used for modelling purposes.
