These classes of solutions closely relate to the GKP-type, spinning and pulsating strings for the relativistic case. We derive the string dynamics in each case and construct relevant dispersion relations, both from the string Newton-Cartan intrinsic sigma model and using a large speed of light expansion of relativistic Polyakov action.
