The duration of the acceleration phase is related to the duration of the rise phase of a flare. We investigated CMEs associated with long duration flares of slow rise phase (slow LDE). These CMEs are characterized by high velocity (v>1000 km/s) during the propagation phase and low average acceleration during the main, prolongated, acceleration phase.
