To carry out prompt spectroscopy, we developed an optical-fiber integral field unit (IFU) and connected it with an existing optical spectrograph KOOLS. KOOLS with IFU, hereafter KOOLS--IFU, was mounted on the Okayama Astrophysical Observatory 188-cm telescope.
