Rhoads, Saeed Rezaee, Sangeeta Malhotra, Santosh Harish, Vithal Tilvi","submitted_at":"2024-07-31T18:00:07Z","abstract_excerpt":"We investigate the `intrinsic' H$\\alpha$ EW distributions of $z \\sim 0.4 - 2.2$ narrowband-selected H$\\alpha$ samples from HiZELS and DAWN using a forward modeling approach. We find an EW - stellar mass anti-correlation with steepening slopes $-0.18\\pm0.03$ to $-0.24^{+0.06}_{-0.08}$ at $z \\sim 0.4$ and $z\\sim 2.2$, respectively.
