In this paper, we investigate the transfer of self-injective property to the amalgamation of $A$ with $B$ along $J$ with respect to $f$ (denoted by $A\\bowtie^fJ),$ introduced and studied by D'Anna, Finocchiaro and Fontana in 2009.
