The effects of jet quenching, arising from the interaction of jets with the quark-gluon plasma, are quantified by comparing trigger-normalized recoil yields in central and peripheral collisions. Such measurements with intermediate-mass beams provide unique insight into spatial and temporal aspects of jet quenching.
