Neglecting the electroweak penguins and IFSI's and assuming the dominance of the top-quark loop in strong penguin diagrams, we propose an experimentally accessible way to approximately determine $\\alpha$ and the penguin amplitude in $B_{d}\\rightarrow \\pi\\pi$.
