Many SGRs/AXPs are known to be variable, and recently the existence of genuinely \"transient\" magnetars was discovered. Here we present a comprehensive study of the pulse profile and spectral evolution of the two transient AXPs (TAXPs) XTE J1810-197 and CXOU J164710.2-455216.
