The study supports a related investigation of the initiation and propagation of yielding in duplex stainless steel. Considered in the study are the identification of constitutive model parameters for the single-crystal elastic and plastic behaviors and the importance of including dominant phase and grain morphologies in the instantiation of virtual samples.
