Penrose and more recently Bergqvist and Lankinen made an analogy from the Ricci tensor to the Bel-Robinson tensor $B_{\\alpha\\beta\\mu\\nu}$, a certain fourth rank tensor quadratic in the Weyl curvature, which also satisfies algebraic Rainich-like conditions.
