In this work, we employ first-principles density functional theory (DFT) to systematically evaluate the two-dimensional BX3 (X = As, P) monolayers as high-performance anode candidates for SIBs. Our calculations reveal that both the BAs3 and BP3 frameworks exhibit excellent mechanical and dynamical stability alongside an intrinsic metallic character.
