In closed geometries, spin-conserving and TE-TM-induced spin-flip tunnelling combine to generate circulating particle currents, hidden spin counterflows, and bond-dependent spin-current patterns. For the minimal geometries - an equilateral triangle, and a square plaquette - we derive analytical expressions for edge-resolved currents from stationary configurations obtained by energy minimization.
