This work studies the synchronization and stability of a network of wind turbines subjected to strong disturbances, by integrating a realistic modeling of wind variability by using the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck stochastic process. The dynamics of each wind turbine are described by a Kuramoto-type equation, while synchronization is analyzed through the time evolution of the phases.
