Starting from a general circuit quantum electrodynamics (cQED) model, we derive the corresponding hybrid qubit-cavity interaction, develop its open-system description including photon- and qubit-sector-bath-induced dissipation and obtain in the weak-dissipation regime an analytical expression for the average gate fidelity.
