Using GPU-accelerated large-scale ab-initio quantum transport simulations, we investigate spin transport in two distinct platforms: twisted bilayer MoTe$_2$ (semiconductor, from lightly to heavily doping) and NbX$_2$ ($X$ = S, Se; metals).
