Traditionally, student engagement is measured through self-reports, which are both labour-intensive and not real-time. An emerging alternative is monitoring physiological signals such as Electrodermal Activity (EDA) and Inter-Beat Interval (IBI), which reflect students' emotional and cognitive states.
