We investigate the Coulomb screening effects on the energy shift of the Hoyle state in a thermal plasma environment using precise three-$\\alpha$ model calculations. The Coulomb screening effect between $\\alpha$ clusters are taken into account within the Debye-H\\\"uckel approximation.
