We obtain a description of continuous maps $\\varphi : \\mathbb R^m\\rightarrow\\mathbb R^n$ such that $f\\circ\\varphi\\in PW(\\mathbb R^m)$ for every function $f\\in PW(\\mathbb R^n)$.
