Using the factorization-assisted topological-amplitude (FAT) approach we calculate the intermediate subprocesses $D_{(s)} \\to P_1 V$, incorporating relativistic Breit-Wigner distributions to model the subsequent $V \\to P_2 P_3$ strong decays.
