We revisit the class of R$\\nu$MDM models, which incorporate minimal dark matter in radiative neutrino mass models based on the one-loop ultraviolet completions of the Weinberg operator. The possibility of an exact accidental $Z_2$ is completely ruled out in this scenario. We study the phenomenology of one of the models with an approximate $Z_2$ symmetry.
