Results at mid-rapidity in the transverse-momentum range 8 $\\le$ $p^{D^{*}}_{T}$ $\\le$ 20 GeV/$c$ are compared with light hadron triggered correlations (h-h) and PYTHIA predictions. We also present an exploratory study of azimuthal correlations between $D^{*+}$ and $D^{*-}$ mesons in p+p collisions.
