Specifically, the DM particles may annihilate or decay into $e^+e^-$, $\\mu^+\\mu^-$ or $\\pi^+\\pi^-$ and may radiate photons through their $e^\\pm$ products. The resulting $e^\\pm$ products can be directly observed in probes such as {\\sc Voyager 1}.
