Owing to our limited knowledge of the hadronic interaction, the interpretations of the mass composition from observations include several open problems, such as the inconsistent interpretations of $\\langle X_{\\mathrm{max}}\\rangle $ and $\\langle X_{\\mathrm{max}}^{\\mu}\\rangle $.
