This is primarily due to technical limitations of the existing synchrotron sources. It hinders access to measurements of local chirality by exploiting core hole electronic transitions. In response to this challenge, we propose an alternative approach: utilizing XFEL-based cross-polarization X-ray Transient Grating (XTG). This method provides an indirect means to measure X-ray Circular Dichroism (XCD).
