It applies Random Rounding -- a stochastic arithmetic technique -- to CNN models employed in non-linear registration (SynthMorph) and whole-brain segmentation (FastSurfer), and compares the resulting numerical uncertainty to the one measured in a reference image-processing pipeline (FreeSurfer recon-all).
