In this work, we investigate its benefits also in terms of reliability improvements and compare the performance of full-duplex (FD) and half-duplex (HD) schemes when using multi-antenna techniques in a communication system. We analyze the trade-offs when considering not only the energy spent on transmission but also the circuitry power consumption, thus making the analysis of much more practical interest.
