Here, we study a distinct sRNA-driven FFL (sFFL) discovered recently in Salmonella enterica. Unlike previously studied transcriptional FFLs (tFFL) and sRNA-mediated FFLs (smFFL), here the upstream regulator is an sRNA that activates the target protein and its transcriptional activator.
