Our goal is to provide a detailed multi-dimensional picture of hydrodynamic convection and convective boundary mixing in the interior of Cepheids. We perform 2D hydrodynamic simulations of six stars with the fully compressible Multidimensional Stellar Implicit Code (MUSIC).
