The considered $\\Xi N$ interaction is in line with available empirical constraints on the $\\Lambda\\Lambda$ $S$-wave scattering length and on $\\Xi N$ elastic and inelastic cross sections. In particular, there are no near-threshold bound states in the $\\Xi N$ system.
