Machado","submitted_at":"2013-05-08T17:47:08Z","abstract_excerpt":"In this contribution we report on the investigation of central diffractive production of mesons $f_0(980)$ and $f_2(1270)$ at the energy of Large Hadron Collider in proton-proton collisions. The cross sections and rapidity distributions for these low-lying mesons are analyzed. The Pomeron-Pomeron process was considered relying on a nonperturbative Pomeron model which is justified by the low mass of considered resonances.
