Applying state-of-the-art foreground cleaning techniques to $\\textit{Planck}$ CMB observations, we construct maps of axion-induced \"patchy screening\" of the CMB. We cross-correlate these maps with data from the $\\textit{unWISE}$ galaxy survey and find no evidence of axions.
