Ruffini","submitted_at":"2017-06-23T13:50:31Z","abstract_excerpt":"We compare and contrast the emission of gravitational waves and waveforms for the recently established \"helicoidal-drifting-sequence\" of a test particle around a Kerr black hole with the publicly available waveform templates of numerical-relativity. The merger of two black holes of comparable mass are considered. We outline a final smooth merging of the test particle into the final Kerr black hole.
