We focus on the limit in which $w_{\\parallel \\alpha} \\gtrsim 0.25 v_{\\mathrm A}$, where $w_{\\parallel \\alpha} $ is the parallel alpha-particle thermal speed and $v_{\\mathrm A}$ is the Alfv\\'en speed.
