Fanelli","submitted_at":"2006-02-01T18:28:32Z","abstract_excerpt":"We show that antiferromagnetism in lightly (~8 %) Sn-doped CeIn_3 terminates at a critical field \\mu_0H_c= 42 \\pm 2 T. Electrical transport and thermodynamic measurements reveal that the effective mass $m^\\ast$ does not diverge, suggesting that cubic CeIn_3 is representative of a critical spin-density wave (SDW) scenario, unlike the local quantum critical points reported in lower-symmetry systems such as CeCu_{6-x}Au_x and YbRh_2Si_{2-x}Ge_x.
