However, the theoretical understanding of the widely used momentum-based acceleration method on PG remains largely open. In response to this gap, we adapt the celebrated Nesterov's accelerated gradient (NAG) method to policy optimization in RL, termed \\textit{Accelerated Policy Gradient} (APG).
