Located at a relatively low latitude (24.5 degree), the JRT will enable observations of nearly 90% of the sky. Equipped with two broadband single-pixel receivers covering 1-8 GHz and 6-18 GHz, and a powerful digital backend, the telescope will support single-dish studies of various radio sources-particularly millisecond pulsars for enhancing the detection of nanohertz gravitational waves.
