Using a flux limited sample of ~14,000 objects with effective redshift z_eff=1.47, we estimate the quasar projected correlation function for separations 1<r/h^{-1} Mpc<20. We find that the 2-point correlation function in real space is well approximated by a power law with slope gamma=1.5 pm 0.2 and comoving correlation length r_0=4.8^{+0.9}_{-1.5} h^{-1} Mpc.
