These systems are combining the properties of dusty (i.e. micrometer to nanometer-sized particles containing) plasmas with quantum effects %(of electrons) appearing at high-density and/or low-temperature. Many exciting properties of QDP were predicted including nontrivial collective oscillations and linear and nonlinear waves.
