Ranada","submitted_at":"2002-11-13T16:23:40Z","abstract_excerpt":"It is shown that the same phenomenological Newtonian model recently proposed by the author to explain the cosmological evolution of the fine structure constant suggests furthermore an explanation of the unmodelled acceleration $a_P\\simeq 8.5\\times 10^{-10}m/s^2$ of the Pioneer 10/11 spaceships reported by Anderson {\\em et al} in 1998.
