To this end, we start from a dispersive representation of the $\\gamma^{(*)}\\pi\\to\\pi\\pi$ amplitude, whose main quark-mass dependence arises from the $\\pi\\pi$ scattering phase shift and can be derived from chiral perturbation theory via the inverse-amplitude method.
